Buhari, Oborevwori mourn Rone, longest serving Chief of Warri Kingdom
President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his condolences to the Olu of Warri, all of the kingdom’s chiefs, the family, and friends of the Rone family on the passing of S.S. Rone, Ogienoyibo, the longest-serving Chief and Obazuaye of Warri.
Additionally, Sheriff Oborevwori, the state’s Peoples Democratic Party, PDP governorship candidate, has expressed sympathy to Mr. Julius Rone and his family for the loss of their patriarch and father, Pa Rone. Sheriff Oborevwori is the speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly.
1) Following public outrage over a rumoured car accident in Calabar, more than 20 people have been hurt, and many more have died. Eyewitnesses reported that a vehicle lost control and swerved into an unwary crowd at the Calabar Carnival, killing more than ten people, including spectators.

3) The three mutilated bodies of young people who were killed by unidentified assailants in Ibadan, the state capital, were taken away by the Oyo State Police Command on Tuesday. It was discovered that the victims were killed in the early hours of Monday in the Akinyele Local Government Area of the State, close to the Office Bus Stop, which is located after the World Oil Petrol Station on the New Ibadan-Oyo Expressway.
