1)  All Progressives Congress candidate , candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakr, and candidate Mr. ’s campaigns were at loggerheads yesterday over fake news and hate speech.


In a statement, Bayo Onanuga, the director of media and publicity for Tinubu’s campaign, accused Atiku and Obi of funding false information against Tinubu in an effort to have the former governor of Lagos State disqualified. He claimed that this would hurt the pair’s chances of winning the presidency.

3) Mr. Joseph David, a 28-year-old cab driver who was abducted along Esuk Mba road in the state’s Akpabuyo Local Area, has been freed by the help of Cross River State Police Command.

4) Due to Israel Adesanya’s loss to Brazilian Alex Pereira in the early hours of Sunday, Canadian musician Drake has incurred a monetary loss.


Drake reportedly bet CA$2,000,000 on the Nigerian mixed martial artist hoping to win CA$2,900,000. However, his plan backfired when Adesanya was submitted a few minutes before the fight’s conclusion.

7) Due to legal action initiated by local airlines against the federal government, its foreign technical partner, and majority shareholders, the national carrier project may be put on hold.

On Friday, about eight regional airlines and their organisation filed a lawsuit against the government, naming as defendants Nigerian Air, Ethiopian Airlines, Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika, and Attorney-General of the Federation .


8) Adetutu Adedokun, a staff of the Department of State Services, is said to have ended her life on Thursday by jumping into the Lagoon.


Adedokun’s Uber driver allegedly stated that she was speaking with her fiancé on the phone when she got out of the vehicle and jumped into the lagoon.

10) The release of the remains of one Obadiah Ibrahim, who was abducted in early October in Sabon Gaya while returning from Abuja to Kaduna, is being sought for a ransom of N10 million.


Kefas Obadiah, a relative of the victim, claimed that the criminals had previously demanded N3 million in ransom.
