The National Universities Commission, NUC, has accepted the institution of King David Umahi University of Medical Sciences, Uburu, Ohoazara LGA, Ebonyi State.
Prof Abubakar Rasheed, the Executive Secretary of NUC, offered the approval letter to the governor of the state, David Umahi on Tuesday within the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja.
Rasheed who lauded the governor for working in direction of the institution of the college mentioned the overall variety of universities within the nation now stands at 197.
