Kwara Varsity Lecturer, Ajeigbe Issa Dies In His Sleep

 

Dr. Ajeigbe Issa, a lecturer at Kwara State University, Malete, passed away on Monday morning at his home in Ilorin, the state capital of Kwara.

 

Until his passing, Ajeigbe served as the institution’s Head of the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education and Acting Director of Sports.

In a Monday circular, the Registrar of KWASU, Dr. Kikelomo Sallee, stated that Ajeigbe passed away in his sleep at his home in Ilorin.

 

According to reports, the Islamic funeral prayer for the deceased professor is currently taking place in Budo-Egba, Asa LGA, Kwara State.

 

Sallee stated, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dr. Ajeigbe Isa Yaqub, Head of the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education and Ag. Director of Sports at the Kwara State University.

 

“Dr. Ajeigbe died in his sleep.

“Janaza will take place at 10:00 a.m. on April 24, 2023, in Budo-Egba, Asa LGA, Kwara State.

 

“As the University mourns the loss of a dedicated staff member, we pray that Allah pardons his transgressions and accepts him into Jannat ul Firdaus.

 

“May Allah also console his family, friends, and the University Community.”
