Good news as President Buhari approves appointment of new rector of Ede Poly
Dr. Sani Man-Yahaya has been appointed as the Federal Polytechnic Ede’s new substantive rector by President Muhammadu Buhari.
With his appointment, Dr. Man-Yahaya becomes the prestigious polytechnic’s sixth substantive Rector.

Dr. Sani Man- Yahaya was been named as the Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State’s sixth substantive rector by President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Rock Villa.
The minister of education, Adamu Adamu, confirmed Dr. Yahaya’s appointment in a letter on Wednesday, December 21.
According to the Federal Polytechnic Act 2019 as amended, the statement reveals that Dr. Man-tenure Yahaya’s will last for five years beginning on November 21.
Dr. Yahaya’s biography
The profile of the new Rector, who was noted to be the most recent Rector of the renowned Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State, is also highlighted in the statement.
He reportedly received his first degree in computer engineering from the prestigious Federal University of Technology in Minna, Niger State, and his second degree in telecommunications engineering from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria.
At the esteemed Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, he also earned his third degree in Wireless and Control Engineering.
