President Bola Tinubu, recently arrived in Lagos from Abuja, setting the stage for a festive Christmas and New Year break in the nation’s commercial capital.

The President’s plane touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Muritala Muhammad Airport in Lagos, with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other cabinet members warmly welcoming him at about 3.55 pm.

This marks President Tinubu’s first Christmas celebration since assuming office as the President of Nigeria on May 29, 2023. His presence in Lagos during the Easter holidays earlier in the year was a prelude to this festive return, emphasizing the significance of these occasions for the leader.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, alongside his deputy, Babafemi Hamzat, received President Tinubu before escorting him to Dodan Barracks in Ikoyi via helicopter.
