Walton Liverpool, Former Bayelsa Permanent Secretary Slumps, Dies

Dr. Walton Liverpool, who had previously served as the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Education for the state of Bayelsa, was found unconscious and later passed away.

He was on a business trip to the state of Edo when he passed away due to issues with his health at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), which is located in Edo State.

It was said that Dr. Liverpool, who had formerly worked for the Bayelsa Civil Service and had since retired, was suffering from high blood pressure.
