Rema Enters Guinness World Record With Hit Track ‘Calm Down’
Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema, the world’s most famous Nigerian singer, has entered the Guinness World Book of Records.
The Benin-born musician accomplished the feat with his global hit song “Calm Down,” which became the first No. 1 hit on The Official MENA Chart (the world’s first regional streaming chart).

Guinness World Records recently acknowledged the singer for accomplishing the historic feat in a statement on its website.
Rema was honoured for having the first number one hit on the world’s first regional streaming chart and the first-ever official chart in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), according to the statement.

Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ debuted at No. 1 when the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) launched the MENA Chart on November 29, 2022.
For more than two months, the song topped the charts.
