Saint Obi was born in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria, in 1964. He studied theatre arts at the University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, where he honed his acting skills and developed a passion for the art. He began his acting career in the early 1990s and quickly rose to fame with his standout performance in Zeb Eiro’s ‘Sakobi.’

The actor was said to have died on Sunday, May 7th, last week, in the home of one of his siblings.
