Tears as Sammie Okposo is buried in Lagos

The Nigerian gospel singer Sammie Okposo was buried in Lagos state.

On November 25, Okposo passed away. According to friends, he did so while asleep.

On December 13, a celebration of the musician’s life took place at Lagos’ La Madison Place, Oniru.

A musical service was also held on December 14 at the House on the Rock Cathedral in Lagos.

On December 15, there was a memorial service held at a personal cemetery in Ikoyi.

Friends, family, and coworkers of Okposo attended the ceremony.

Another gospel singer, Nikki Laoye, shared a video of the burial ceremony on her Instagram page. In the video, she can be seen sobbing vehemently over Sammie’s passing.

Oh my God, bros eee, my big brother. It was so heartbreaking for me to see you in that coffin and watch as you were lowered into the ground. She wrote in pidgin English, “The last thing I ever imagined to happen this year.

“When they began encasing you in sand and cement and the tears would not stop, I finally freaked out. called you repeatedly and thanked you. I last experienced this kind of great pain when I lost my father.

Sammie Okposo made a name for himself as a leading gospel performer worldwide. He was also the CEO of Zamar Entertainment, a psalmist, and a music producer.

In 2004, the singer released his debut record, “Addicted.” Additionally, he has worked closely with numerous other gospel and soul musicians.
