SDP presidential candidate takes final decision on alliance with Tinubu
Adewole Adebayo, the Social Democratic Party’s (SDP) presidential candidate, has stated that his group “will never work with” the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), or Peter Obi’s Labour Party before the general election of 2023.
Adebayo reportedly referred to the major political parties and their candidates, Bola Tinubu (APC) and Atiku Abubakar (PDP), as confused while addressing his supporters during the flag-off of the presidential and governorship campaigns at the Ake palace ground in Abeokuta on Saturday.

The attorney acknowledged that some candidates might resign for one another, but he rejected coalitions with rivals for the presidency.

“Anyone who loves Nigeria at this time won’t want those people to return at all, given how confused they appeared. The APC is a perplexed party.
“And I don’t mean it as an insult; they’re just perplexed. They are in charge and promise to change the government while they are in charge.

“PDP won’t ever turn around. Sinners should repent because God does not mind them.
“If you were in government for 16 years and have been out of federal power for 8 years, and you are still sluggish, fraudulent, deceptive, and funny as before, then you never change.”

“Let me be very clear, when I mentioned APC and PDP, that includes Peter Obi because he is still a PDP member,” he continued. He only has Labour Party on loan for one week.
