Pastor Adeboye Expresses Concern Over The Possibility of 2023 Elections

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has expressed worry about the potential of a general election in Nigeria in 2023, saying that despite the nearness of the date, God has not revealed whether or not there will be an election.

Adeboye claimed that the situation in Nigeria has gotten so bad that the currency is no longer worth the paper it is printed on while speaking at the Redeemed Christian Church of God 2022 Holy Ghost Service.

I do not know if He will tell me tomorrow, but as I sit here in front of you, He has not said whether or not there will be elections in the coming year.

Of course, as per usual, I will pray for anyone who approaches me and asks me to do so. Although God must respond, that is my responsibility.

I am not a prophet, and I am not trying to scare you, or claiming to know some information you don’t.

Even though I am only a pastor, I am your pastor. We must pray. So please come prepared to pray when I see you all on Friday, December 2.
