He suggests that the current laws governing road accidents are not strict enough, and proposes the implementation of stricter laws, such as Sharia Law, into traffic regulations.

Abdullahi stated that the measure would promote safe road habits, encourage respect for traffic rules, and instill discipline among motorists.

He stated that it could potentially reduce the number of dangerous incidents on the road caused by irresponsible driving.

Consider implementing Sharia Law in cases of road accidents to increase awareness. The level of care among our people could be improved, and some vehicle owners may not regularly perform checks.

If Sharia Law is not introduced, some road users in this area may not consider the consequences of their actions.

The implementation of Sharia Law is believed to have a positive impact on road safety, as it is thought to address negative behaviours exhibited by drivers and other road users that contribute to accidents.

Some individuals may choose to exceed the speed limit due to a desire to earn more income, rather than taking a break.

If the law is introduced, in the event of a crash, an investigation would take place and those involved would be held responsible for any damages caused.

In a situation where a driver has died in a crash, if found guilty, the owner of the vehicle may also be held responsible for not properly vetting the driver before allowing them to use the vehicle.

“The current law is effective, but its effectiveness is significant. In countries where Sharia Law is enforced, it influences behaviour to the point where even family and friends advise each other on appropriate actions,” they stated.

He stated that under Sharia Law, the offender’s family members are also involved in the penalty, and not solely responsible for it.

If stricter penalties are implemented for road traffic violations, it could potentially encourage drivers and other road users to operate their vehicles more cautiously and reduce the occurrence of accidents.

The user observed that conventional law focuses on immediate events and does not consider attitudes or conduct in the long term, whereas Sharia law takes a more comprehensive approach and considers the ultimate outcome.

He stated that Sharia law would be better. If you examine the countries where this is happening, it concerns everyone because people you know may be aware that it is not negotiable.
