‘He Is In Better Health Than I Am’ – Shettima Shares Insights On Tinubu’s Well-being
Kashim Shettima, the vice presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has admitted that Bola Tinubu is healthier than he is.
Shettima announced this during a live Facebook discussion program with Bulama Bukarti, Nasir Zango, and Abba Hikima as well as Nigerian journalist Jaafar Jaafar.

This is occurring in the midst of rumors and worries regarding the former governor of Lagos State’s health, who is said by many to be unfit to serve as president.
However, Shettima clarified the controversies surrounding Tinubu’s health before the election in February during the interview.
He claims that Bola Tinubu is healthy and strong in contrast to him, who has diabetes and high blood pressure.
He stated that Tinubu is physically and mentally capable of serving as president of Nigeria because these tasks require mental effort rather than physical strength like manual labour.

Let me state unequivocally that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is healthy, he said. Regardless of politics, he possesses the physical and mental capabilities to lead Nigeria.
“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is even healthier than I am because he doesn’t have diabetes or high blood pressure, whereas I do. Lack of sleep alone causes even the early Parkinson’s disease that has been mentioned. Once he gets enough rest, he won’t exhibit any symptoms.
“Leadership is not like manual labour like carrying cement bags. It requires more mental than physical effort. While using wheelchairs, former presidents Theodore Roosevelt, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, and Daniel arap Moi of Kenya, Algeria, and America, respectively, guided their nations through economic prosperity.
