Chukwuemeka Ezeife Reveals Sponsors of INEC facilities Attacks

Chukwuemeka Ezeife, a former governor of Anambra State, has claimed that opponents of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 election, are the ones behind the attacks on facilities of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the southern region of Nigeria.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) offices in the states of Osun, Ogun, and Imo were recently attacked.

Ezeife referred to the conduct as a perilous phenomenon in his analysis.

He stated that the opponents’ objective is to demolish the INEC facilities and put the electorate in the southern zone powerless through their game plan.

In his remarks to the press on Tuesday, the ex-governor denied a number of charges, including one to the effect that members of the criminal organisation known as the Indigenous People of Biafra were responsible for the assaults on INEC facilities.

According to Ezeife, the question of whether or not IPOB was participating in the act is irrelevant because of the statements made by Nnamdi Kanu.

“So, the issue of whether or not IPOB was involved in the act is neither here nor there,” Ezeife stated.
