The Super Falcons of Nigeria on Thursday defeated their Cameroonian counterparts 1-0 to qualify for the semi-finals of the ongoing WAFCON.
In the 56th minute, Rasheedat Ajibade scored the only goal to give the Super Falcons of Nigeria the lead.

The defeat of the Cameroonian team also qualifies the Super Falcons for the FIFA Women’s World Cup. 
However, the team’s qualification for the World Cup marks its tenth consecutive appearance.
