Six Year-Old Girl Dies In Abuja School During Swimming Lesson

Modadeoluwa, a 6-year-old student, is said to have passed away at a school in Abuja.

The family has broken down in tears at the news of the death of their daughter.

The young girl allegedly died at Start Rite School in Abuja on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, while she was getting a swimming lesson, according to the grieving family.

The family further claimed that school officials attempted to tamper with CCTV footage of the incident, but they managed to gather evidence.

According to one David, who appeared to be a close cousin of the deceased, the girl was repeatedly thrown off balance at the shallow end of the pool, hitting her head and suffering internal bleeding.

The family also stated that the school remained open and went about its business as usual rather than accepting responsibility for the occurrence.

“My little cousin apparently had a swim day at school. The coach told her to swim as far as she could and then swim back.

When she got back, he tossed her repeatedly in the air at the shallow end of the pool. She hit her head and had internal bleeding, ” David wrote.

“Even with that, the coach was continuously shoving her in. We later requested the CCTV footage, and when we got there, we discovered that they had edited the recording.

Currently, the school is operating as if nothing had happened, and they are fooling various guardians and avoiding taking accountability.

According to Bobanure, “On November 2nd 2022, my smart. Madade, a kind and lovely 6-year-old cousin, died as a result of the Abuja swimming instructor’s carelessness.

The portion of the CCTV tape that depicts what happened in the pool has been erased by the school since it has refused to acknowledge any responsibility.
