The same APC that asked Peter Obi to go to court are now complaining and humiliating him — Ayo Mairo-Ese
A Nigerian journalist, Ayo Mairo-Ese, has during an interview, made a comment about APC attitude, calling it “quite fascinating” that the APC, which had previously ordered Mr. Peter Obi, to appear in court, is now publicly humiliating him. She made the remark in response to a tweet from Mr. Bayo Onanuga, who said that Peter Obi wanted to nullify Tinubu’s victory similarly to how it was done in June 1993 under the MKO Abiola regime.
According to Ayo Mairo-Ese, voter suppression occurred during the election, and it would be terrible if there were also attempts to block the administration of justice. However, she urged the APC members to refrain from disparaging the candidates who had made legal complaints.
“It’s interesting that the APC had the loudest voice in court and now that Mr. Peter Obi is seeking redress in court as is permitted by law, rather than calling for a revolution or asking people to go to the streets,” he said. They are currently court-shaming him, if I may use that expression. Please don’t allow justice to be obstructed because of voter intimidation.
“Let a man have his day in court if he feels wronged and has adequate evidence to convince the justices that he has a case to establish. APC and Mr. Bayo Onanuga should quit attempting to communicate with people and change the conversation in order to give the appearance that what Mr. Peter Obi is doing is not within his legal rights as a Nigerian who wants to seek restitution.
