Tanko has said that there is an Obidient in the presidency, Ejesgist.ng reports.
The spokesperson of the Labour Party presidential campaign council, Yunusa Tanko, is highly optimistic that a lot of people will soon join the campaign train of the presidential candidate of the party, Peter Obi.
Speaking in an interview with Ejesgist.ng, Yunusa Tanko who disclosed that a younger brother to former governor of Zamfara state, Yari recently joined the Labour party in Zamfara state, said more people will keep joining the party since there are supporters of Peter Obi all over the country.
Speaking further, Yunusa Tanko noted that for some time now, he has been saying that Peter Obi has supporters in every household in Nigeria including the presidency and up till now, he has not been challenged by anybody.
He added that every Nigerian has faced the the brunt of their children not going for school for about nine months due to the ASUU strike, so there is no household that has not felt the impact of situations in the country.
Hear him, “Recently we just have the younger brother to a former governor of Zamfara state, Yari joining us, and he is one of our candidates in Zamfara state. There will be more because we need everybody, but, as far as we’re concerned, we’re going to make do with what is available and then plead with others so they can join us. I keep on saying there is an Obidient in every household including the presidency and I remain to be challenged”.
“Every Nigerian has filled the brunt of their children not going to school for nine months. Every Nigerian has felt the effect of the dwindling economy. Already, there’s an increase in inflation and unemployment rate. So, there’s no household that has not felt it” he added.
