Incoming Governor, Vows to Sack PS appointed by Oyetola

, the governor of Osun State, appointed 30 civil servants as permanent secretaries on Thursday.

The names of those hired were listed in a statement that Dr. Festus Oyebade, the Head of Service, signed.

According to the announcement, those appointed would fill open positions in the state civil service.

Ademola Adeleke, the incoming governor of Osun, issued a statement through his spokesperson cautioning those chosen not to accept the position.

We want to make it clear that those who accept the appointments should be prepared to leave the service whether or not their service tenure has reached the statutory age, according to the statement.

“The incumbents will be treated as political appointees who will automatically leave the public service on November 28 along with the departing governor.
