The camp of the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has urged Nigerians to pray for the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over his whereabouts.
Tinubu’s old photos were uploaded as new ones by his media team, according to Daniel Bwala, one of Atiku’s media aides.
Bwala said there may have been a cover-up regarding Tinubu’s whereabouts and health by posting an old photo of him.
However, he pointed out that Nigerians are not interested in Tinubu’s location but rather the petition for the presidential election.
“These uninvited and unforced errors from the Tinubu camp of releasing Tinubu’s old photos and videos suggesting recent events which have always been proven false suggests there may be a cover-up as to the whereabouts and state of health of Tinubu,” Bwala said on his Twitter account.
What Tinubu needs from us as patriots are prayers, not the gibberish that his haphazard media henchmen continue to spout occasionally.
“Members of the opposing parties are concentrating on the election petition and not discussing his health or whereabouts.
However, the media assistants around him kept posting outdated images and videos to give the impression that an event had just occurred. “Maximum incompetence.”
