March 18 Polls: PDP’s Sheriff Oborevwori wins Delta governorship election 

 

The candidate of the peoples Democratic party (PDP),  Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has been declared winner of the March 18th, 2023 polls by Prof. Owunare Abraham of the Delta State Independent National Electoral Commission.

Sheriff Oborevwori of the peoples Democratic Party amassed 360,234 votes, his counter part in the all Progressives Congress, Sen. Ovie Omo- agege amassed, 240,229 votes, Ken Pela of the labour party, 48,047, Kenneth Gbagi of the Social Democratic party amassed, 4,639 votes.

  1. I appeal to all the defeated candidates in the concluded
    Delta State Elections as the usual out come of any politics, that there can only be one winner.They must not resort to
    wasting their hard earned funds into seeking redress from
    court.This is an opportunity to think hard,whether to defect
    to the winning party,or form a strong and formidable alliance to contest in the next elections in 2027.
