Bride Vanishes, Younger Sister weds Husband in her place
In Niger State, a bride vanished on her wedding day, therefore the ceremony was resumed using the bride’s younger sister as the bride.
On Friday, May 13, family members of the couple gathered in New Bussa, Niger state, for the wedding ceremony when they found the bride was missing.

When the bride’s companions were questioned, they admitted that the bride had mentioned going somewhere to hide for a time since she didn’t want to get married.

According to Borgu Online, the family of the missing bride convened a secret meeting right away and later invited the groom’s family to the meeting.
The wedding would continue with the bride’s younger sister as the replacement bride, as agreed by both families.
