Peter Obi takes campaign to Delta, assures on completion of East/West Road
Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, visited Delta State on Monday and claimed that the sufferings of Nigerians at the moment know no boundaries of religion, region, or tribe.
Speaking to supporters in Delta State, the capital of Delta State, Obi declared that the Obi-Datti ticket was the best and most trustworthy one for securing and uniting the nation.

Claiming that his administration would transition the nation from one of consumption to one of production with the help of the youth’s enthusiasm and energy.
No more strikes at our public universities; we will make education work. Since we will train the police to work, we will make sure that there is law and order and that there is no longer any police harassment. They are not our enemies; rather, they are our friends.
Obi, who spoke to his supporters in Warri, declared: “Warri Port will function. We will complete the East-West road, which has been under construction for 24 years, by travelling from here to Warri on the double lane.
He claimed that the fact that he is from the South-East has not prevented him from running for office. He urged everyone to disregard the “it is my turn” campaign slogan and insisted that it was the responsibility of every right-thinking Nigerian to retake the nation.

If it is turn by turn, it is the turn of the South-East, according to Obi, who is from that region. However, I am not standing for office in this election because I am from the South-East, but rather because I am Nigerian and the best. The Obi-Datti combination is unlike any other individual or group.
“Our average age is 50, so we still have that on our side. Others are 70 years old on average, which is the retirement age. We will see to it that they can retire in peace.
“We want people who are prepared because running this country requires a lot of physical and mental effort. We seek out trustworthy individuals who are willing to reveal their past.
“We are businesspeople, and we make money. Our competitors, on the other hand, only know how to take and share. We are capable, qualified, and competent to complete the task. Most importantly, we are compassionate.

“Do not follow them; if they offer you money, accept it and support us because that money was originally taken from you by them.
He added “umbrella don leak, broom de sweep dirty, vote us because we are competent”
