Nysom Wike dispatched a C4i police unit to Elekahia to seal my hotel, CSKR hotels, and Priscy’s bar. According to information gathered from sources, a portion of the message claims that the police “manhandled both lodgers and staff and forcefully drove out everyone in the premises.”

According to information received, neither the state administration nor the police have stated a rationale for the most recent order sealing the hotel and bar.

Remember that on August 19, 2022, Wike issued an order to lock off Priscy’s pub after staff members and patrons there were detained and arrested by members of the C4i Tactical Team of the Nigerian Police Force. Before the former governor ordered the pub to be opened, it was closed for 11 days.
