Wike dismisses claims of division within G-5 Governors
Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has refuted assertions that there is dissension among the G-5 governors.
The governor made the remarks on Saturday as he opened a road project in the state’s Ahoada East local government area.

The G5 governors’ alleged “playing God” was also denied by the governor.
He stated that all they wanted was for things to be done correctly.
The G5 governors, Nyesom Wike, the Rivers state Governor added, are still powerful and have done nothing wrong.
They claimed that we were playing God, but for what purpose, he asked. We are aware of the role God has played in our lives, so we can never pretend to be God.

“There is nothing wrong with what we did. All we are asking is that actions be taken so that everyone feels a sense of belonging. That is what we hope to accomplish.
“God continues to make G5 stronger and stronger. You prayed that there would be division, and while that prayer has been ongoing since May or June, it has never been answered and, in the name of Jesus, it will never be answered.
Just let the dog lie in its sleep. You will not be able to sleep if you don’t.
“All we are saying is to be thankful and to avoid living deceitfully for the sake of power. The wicked will never be given authority by God.
