Wike donates 25 buses to Benue PDP campaign council
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) campaign council in Benue State has received about 25 brand new Toyota Hiace vans thanks to a donation made by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.
On Tuesday, the party provided confirmation that they had received the buses.

Recall that the crisis Roiling the Opposition Party has taken place since the PDP convention in may?
The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike had asked for fairness stating that the presidential candidate of the party and the national chairman cannot be from the same region.
Wike and his ally had since called for the resignation of the PDP national Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu to accommodate for a southern president and provide for more inclusion of other regions.

This move had since put the party and it’s members at logger heads as some ally of the Rivers state governor also called the G-5 Governors have backed Governor Wike, alongside with some top party officials while others have taken sides with the national chairman and the PDP presidential candidate.
In light of which, the PDP BoT passed a vote of confidence on the National Chairman which made the Rivers Governor to make certain fraud allegations against the PDP national chairman.
Accusing him of mismanagement and collecting of Bribe which amounted to 1billion Naira from a certain politician who he had refused to name and collection of another 100 million from a certain politician.

The governor also accused the PDP National Chairman of mismanagement of party funds gathered from the sale of nomination forms.
