“Sack me, I pepper you”: Wike sends big threat to PDP
Rivers state Governor Nyesom Wike has threatened to retaliate against the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) if it turns out that the rumour about the party planning to fire him is real.
Wike stated that he is waiting for such a day to come to fruition, and he went on to say that this is the time when the leadership of the opposition will show his true colour.
Within the hierarchy of the party’s leadership, the governor is leading the charge, along with four other governors of the party, in a call for justice and equity.
The governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, has dismissed the possibility that he may be expelled from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The governor made it clear that he would react in an appropriate manner in the event that he was expelled from the party.
If the opposition decides to fire him, he will fulfil his promise to expose the party for what it really is.
On Friday, November 18, Governor Wike gave a speech at a luncheon held in honour of the G5 governors in Port Harcourt, the capital of the state of Rivers.

The five governors that make up the G5 are as follows: Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu, Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, and Samuel Ortom of Benue state. Wike is also a member of the G5.
Before they will back Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP, the governors who feel wronged are insisting that Iyorchia Ayu step down from his position as national chairman of the PDP. Their rationale for this demand is that fairness and justice require it.
His statement can be summarized as follows:
“They have informed me that I will be fired. I had been eagerly anticipating the day that they will fire me. I will pepper them and You will come to realize that khaki is not leather.
