World Igbo Congress launches scathing attack on “shameful” Soludo
The World Igbo Congress (WIC), a sociopolitical organisation with its headquarters in Houston, reprimanded the Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo, on Thursday for making the “foolish suggestion” that the southeast geopolitical zone in Nigeria ought to start negotiating with political front-liners in the country.
Basil Onwukwe, the group’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), issued a statement to Newsmen in which it implied that Governor Soludo is a saboteur.

World Igbo Congress, WIC has stated that Soludo can make the decision to play second fiddle in Nigeria, but the organisation will not be a part of that decision.
The suggestion made by Governor Soludo of Anambra state to begin negotiation with his favourite political frontliners is one that World Igbo vehemently opposes.
“After being relegated to a supporting role since the beginning of the first republic with no discernible advancement, this is the ultimate insult to the psyche of the Igbo people.
““Governor Soludo has refused to wake up and has continued to be frozen in the mundane politics of Nigeria.
As a result, he is drowning in the same ocean of confusion as the rest of his fellow political class.”
Onwukwe stated that the World Igbo Congress, along with all of its organs and affiliates around the world, vehemently condemns Governor Soludo’s shameful recommendation.
