Expressing loyalty to the APC, Ize-Iyamu appealed to party leaders and members for nomination, pledging swift development for the people. He attributed the APC’s loss in the 2020 guber poll to alleged betrayal by some leaders and governors who switched allegiance to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
