The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has vehemently refuted social media claims regarding soaring food prices in orientation camps, dismissing them as groundless and mischievous fabrications.

Eddy Megwa, NYSC’s Director of Press and Public Relations, issued a statement on Saturday, characterizing the allegations as “laughable, absurd, and unfortunate.”

Megwa strongly criticized the circulating narrative that implied a state coordinator urged corps members to abandon the orientation camp due to alleged food shortages, categorizing it as a “tissue of lies intended to cause mischief.”
