In the wake of a tragic incident, it has been reported that an unspecified number of individuals may be trapped following the collapse of a five-storey building under construction on Basden Street, Fegge, in the bustling city of Onitsha, Anambra State.

The building, designed for commercial purposes upon completion, gave way in the early hours of Sunday while construction workers were on the final floor. Swift response has been initiated, with an excavator deployed to the site for rubble clearance and potential rescue operations.
