Renowned Nigerian actress Ruth Kadiri has shared a poignant recollection of her efforts alongside other prominent figures in the entertainment industry, including AGN President Emeka Rollas, Regina Daniels, and Rita Daniels, as they rallied at the hospital until the early hours of the morning in a bid to save the late actor Junior Pope.

 

The Nigerian movie scene was engulfed in sorrow following the tragic demise of the talented actor, Junior Pope, in a boating accident. Reports indicate that despite being discovered with signs of life initially, Junior Pope ultimately succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital.

Kadiri disclosed that she, along with Regina Daniels, the mother of Regina Daniels, and several other esteemed colleagues, remained steadfast at the hospital until 3 am, tirelessly exploring every avenue to salvage Junior Pope’s life.

Expressing profound grief over the loss, Kadiri underscored the immense sacrifices made by individuals in the entertainment and film fraternity for their craft. However, she lamented that despite their unwavering dedication, passion alone cannot defy the cruel hand of fate when it comes to preserving precious lives.

She wrote:
