Asari Dokubo Blasts President Tinubu Over Rivers Political Crisis.

Former Niger Delta warlord, Asari Dokubo, has lashed out at President Bola Tinubu, accusing him of exacerbating the political crisis in Rivers State. In a viral video posted on social media, Dokubo alleged that Tinubu has handed over the state to former governor and current FCT minister, Nyesom Wike.

Dokubo claimed that Wike is “playing god” in the ongoing political feud with his godson and Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara. He warned that Wike’s actions are “dead on arrival” and will not succeed.

The former warlord also commended Governor Fubara for increasing the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) from N12 billion to N27 billion. However, he disputed the figures, alleging that the governor only had access to N6 billion when he assumed office.

Dokubo’s outburst is the latest development in the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State, which has seen Wike and Fubara at loggerheads. The crisis has raised concerns among residents and political observers, who fear it could destabilize the state.
