Abuja, Nigeria — President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of eight new Federal Permanent Secretaries to fill existing and impending vacancies in some states and geo-political zones in the top administrative cadre of the Civil Service of the Federation..
In a press statement issued by the presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngalale, the new Federal Permanent Secretaries were appointed after a diligent selection process by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. Those appointed according to their zones are:

- Dr. Emanso Umobong Okop – Akwa-Ibom ( South South)
- Obi Emeka Vitalis – Anambra ( South East)
- Mahmood Fatima Sugra Tabi’a – Bauchi (North-East)
- Danjuma Mohammed Sanusi – Jigawa ( North-West)
- Olusanya Olubunmi – Ondo ( South West)
- Dr. Keshinro Maryam Ismaila – Zamfara ( North-West)
- Akujobi Chinyere Ijeoma – South-East
- Isokpunwu Christopher Osaruwanmwen – South-South
In the official statement, President Tinubu emphasized the importance of dedication, diligence, and fidelity in the execution of their duties.
“The President anticipates that the new Federal Permanent Secretaries will exercise absolute dedication, diligence, and fidelity to the nation in the discharge of their functions and ensure optimum service delivery to the Nigerian people,” the statement read.
The newly appointed permanent secretaries are to contribute significantly to the administration’s goals of good governance and improved public service delivery
