Nigeria Senators Donates December Salaries To Victims of Kaduna Bombing

All 109 Senators from the 10th Senate in a remarkable display of solidarity and compassion have pledged their December salaries, totaling N109 million, to support the victims of the recent drone mishap in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The announcement was made on Sunday by the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, during a visit to the Kaduna Government House leading a delegation of high-ranking senators.

The delegation was warmly received by the state governor, Senator Uba Sani.

Senator Barau, speaking through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, emphasized that the entirety of the donated funds would be channeled to the state governor for direct distribution to the affected individuals.

Expressing gratitude on behalf of the state, Governor Uba Sani extended appreciation to the Senators for their noble gesture in contributing their December salaries to aid those impacted by the drone misfire.

The Senate delegation, consisting of influential figures such as Senate Leader Senator Micheal Opayemi Bamidele, Chief Whip Senator Ali Ndume, Minority Leader Senator Abba Moro, Deputy Minority Leader Senator Kamorudeen Olarere, Senator Abdulhamid Malam-Madori, Senator Aliyu Ikra Bilbis, Senator Ibrahim Bomoi, Senator Ibrahim Lamido, Senator Abdulaziz Yar’Adua, Senator Victor Umeh, Senator Muntari Dandutse, Senator Lawal Usman, and Senator Emmanuel Udende, also visited the Barau Dikko Hospital to personally meet and offer support to the victims.
