Police Arrest Man For Allegedly Abusing Adamawa Stakeholders On TikTok

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 33-year-old man, Aliyu Musa a.k.a Imam Mahdi, a resident of Kwacham Ward, Mubi South Local Government area of the state for abusing the state’s stakeholders on TikTok.

According to the state’s police command, Aliyu claimed Adamawa stakeholders are unjust. It was also alleged that he doesn’t have any evidence to substantiate his assertions which may not only tarnish their image but will also lead to the breakdown of law and order.

A statement released by the police command’s spokesperson, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje read;

“The Adamawa State Police Command came across a very disturbing video of a 33-year-old Aliyu Musa, A-K-A Imam Mahdi a resident of Kwacham Ward, Mubi South Local Government area, with a TikTok handle @faty5076 circulating on social media.

The content portrays the young man’s assertions that some Adamawa stakeholders are unjust thereby abusing them in an immoral manner He doesn’t have any evidence to substantiate his assertions and that may not only tarnish their image but will also lead to the breakdown of the law and order, due to their sensitive Responsibilities as public office holders in Adamawa in particular and Nigeria in General.

The Command unequivocally condemns such acts in the strongest terms and vows to deal with anyone who is bent on violating the laws of the Land.

Preliminary investigations so far reveal that the abusive language was used to demean the reputation of the prominent personalities and leaders in the State. This cruel and violent manner will lead to the breakdown of law and order.

It is imperative to employ proactive measures to guide and counsel Social media handlers to be wary of their posts to avoid violating the laws that define and regulate social media policies.

Sequel to the above, the Command emphasizes the importance of implementing and sensitizing members of the public to guard and protect their utterances that are capable of threatening the peace of the public.

The Command remains steadfast in its commitment to maintaining law and order.”
