Job Description:
St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Midwife to join their healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. This role involves working collaboratively with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Conduct prenatal and postnatal examinations.
- Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Provide education and support to women and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting.
- Assist with deliveries and perform midwifery procedures as needed.
- Stay current with evidence-based practice and professional development.
Requirements for Registered Nurse / Midwife at St Dominic Catholic Hospital
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse Midwife with the relevant professional body.
- Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse Midwife.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
