Shettima urged Nigerians to support Tinubu’s initiatives to elevate the country, emphasizing that effective governance transcends political party lines. He stressed that national unity and progress should take precedence over party differences.

Citing the support he received from the Kano State Government, led by Governor Abba Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), during his bereavement, Shettima noted that the country has moved beyond politics to focus on governance.

He called for collective efforts to achieve national greatness, emphasizing that political party affiliations should not serve as a basis for division and conflict. The vice-president appealed for unity and cooperation among all political parties, reiterating that ensuring Nigeria’s greatness is a shared responsibility.
