Mobile App Launched To Combat Fake News
Prior to the country’s general elections on February 25 and March 11 a mobile app for detecting fake news has been released.
RiseNetworks, a data science and AI company, created and released the mobile app “Run Am” over the weekend in Abuja in collaboration with the MacArthur Foundation, the Centre for Geo-Information, Technology and Development, and the Centre for Democracy and Development.
1) A power outage on Monday abruptly ended the All Progressives Congress, or APC, presidential campaign rally in Bauchi State. At the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi, the rally was in progress when the power went out and the sound system malfunctioned. Read More
