The petitioners are requesting the committee to investigate their case thoroughly and ensure justice is served, leading to their reinstatement in their positions.

The petitioners also requested payment of their outstanding payments and punishment for those responsible for the wrongdoing.

During the investigative hearing, the FCC chairwoman, Farida Dankaka, distanced herself from some of the allegations related to job racketeering and favoritism, among other issues.

Ms. Dankaka attributed the allegations against her to her efforts in combating corruption within the FCC, stating that “when you fight corruption, corruption will fight back.”

The ad hoc committee, led by Yusuf Gagdi, is currently examining cases of employment racketeering and severe mismanagement of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) in federal government agencies.
