In a bid to promote unity and avoid further discord, the leadership of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has called upon all Nigerians to accept the ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).
This appeal follows the decision of presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) to approach the PEPT after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the victor of the February 25th election.
Addressing the media during a press conference, Bishop Wale Oke, the National President of PFN, along with fellow spiritual leaders, emphasized the significance of preventing any potential crisis, particularly as the nation grapples with an array of challenges.

Our correspondent reported Bishop Oke’s words: “We want to enjoin all Nigerians to please accept the verdict of the tribunal, and let us move on with the rebuilding of our nation.
We should come together in unity and let the healing begin because the politics of the past few months inflicted much wounds on the various sectors of our nation.”
Bishop Oke, who is also the President of Sword of the Spirit Ministries, took the opportunity to address the concerns posed by the removal of fuel subsidies.

He stressed that the responsibility now lies with President Tinubu’s administration to take decisive actions that directly confront these pressing issues and alleviate the resulting hardships.
