President Tinubu Orders Swift Rescue of Abducted Female Students in Zamfara
In the wake of the harrowing abduction of 24 female students from the Federal University of Gusau in Zamfara state, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has issued explicit directives to security agencies, urging them to expedite the rescue mission.
The horrifying incident unfolded in the early hours of Friday, September 22, when armed bandits brazenly assaulted the off-campus female hostel. While six of the abducted students were subsequently rescued, a distressing number still remain in captivity.
Presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelali, released a statement in which President Tinubu expressed unequivocal condemnation of the reprehensible act of abduction.
