Trump Insists Biden Apologize for Easter Sunday ‘Transgender Day of Visibility’ Announcement

Former President Donald Trump has demanded an immediate apology from President Joe Biden, addressing millions of Christians and Catholics. Trump’s call for an apology is in response to President Biden’s declaration of Easter Sunday as “Trans Visibility Day.”

The Trump campaign has characterized this action as a continuation of the Biden administration’s “prolonged attack on the Christian faith.”

The outcry from Trump and his camp followed widespread indignation among prominent politicians and conservative commentators over the announcement of “Transgender Day of Visibility” coinciding with the most sacred Christian holiday.

Karoline Leavitt, a spokesperson for Trump, criticized President Biden’s announcement, viewing it as part of the administration’s “prolonged attack on the Christian faith.”

“We urge President Biden’s faltering campaign and the White House to extend an apology to the millions of Catholics and Christians throughout America who recognize tomorrow solely as a celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection,” she stated.

Leavitt further accused the Biden administration of prohibiting religious egg designs at its Easter Art Event, a component of the White House’s Easter traditions, which includes the annual Easter Egg Roll.

House Speaker Mike Johnson expressed his dismay on the social media platform X, stating, “The Biden White House has disregarded the fundamental principle of Easter—the resurrection of Jesus Christ. To ban sacred truth and tradition, while simultaneously designating Easter Sunday as ‘Transgender Day,’ is both outrageous and reprehensible. The American populace is taking notice.”

The controversy was ignited by Biden’s declaration of March 31 as “Transgender Day of Visibility,” which this year coincided with Easter Sunday.

Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s national press secretary, labeled Biden’s formal proclamation of Easter Sunday as “Trans Day of Visibility” as “appalling and insulting.”
