Lobbying Campaign Led by Kalu Aims for Kanu’s Release

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has disclosed that frantic efforts are underway to secure the release of the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. He mentioned that alongside the ongoing court processes, political solutions are being pursued.

Speaking at a special edition of “The Ben Kalu’s Mandate,” a radio program of FLO FM, Umuahia, Abia State, virtually on Monday, the Deputy Speaker stated that efforts to achieve this objective were intentionally carried out behind the scenes.
