Abuja Court stops LP National Chairman, 4 others from parading as officers
A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory FCT has issued an order prohibiting the National Chairman of the Labour Party, Mr. Julius Abure, the National Secretary, Alhaji Farouk Ibrahim, Mr. from parading themselves as National excos of the party.
Others prevented from parading as National Officers include National Organizi Secretary Clement Ojukwu and another.

Wednesday in Abuja, Justice Hamza Muazu issued a restraining order in response to an ex-parte application argued by Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN James Ogwu Onoja.
Onoja had informed the court in the petition that the detained national officers had allegedly forged multiple documents of the FCT High Court in order to conduct unlawful substitutions in the most recent general elections.
Among the documents were receipts, court seals, and affidavits pertaining to criminal activity.
The senior attorney who submitted several documents confirmed to the judge that the Chief Registrar of the Court wrote the Labour Party to disown several documents allegedly used in Abure and three others’ alleged criminal activities.
Onoja stated that the four individuals will be arraigned in court following their indictment following a police investigation, and that arrest warrants have already been obtained.
In a brief ruling, Justice Muazu determined that the request should be granted based on the application and supporting affidavits.
The judge subsequently ruled that the four individuals must immediately cease posing as Labour Party national officers.
