Father Mbaka Calls for Prayers Against Planned Attacks in 2024

, the founder of Adoration Ministries, , has raised an alarm, urging his followers to pray fervently to thwart impending attacks targeted at him in the coming year, 2024.

During a cross-over night service at the Adoration Ground in Enugu on Monday, the revealed that he had received a divine message forewarning him of an intensified onslaught planned against him.

Mbaka, without specifying the identities of those behind the purported plot, implored his congregation to support him through prayers as God had shown him that the attacks directed at him would be severe in the upcoming year.

“The Lord demands that all of you should back with prayers because of the level of attack that is coming to me in 2024. I need your prayer backup,” Father Mbaka urged the attendees.

Expressing his surprise at the revelation, Mbaka admitted that he had not anticipated facing any attacks this year. However, according to him, the Holy Spirit had revealed that certain malevolent individuals harboring grievances were planning sinister actions against him.

The cleric recalled a similar instance in his New Year message for 2022 when he claimed there was a conspiracy to take his life following his conflict with the Catholic Diocese of Enugu in May 2021.

Mbaka’s political stance, which shifted from supporting President Muhammadu Buhari to criticizing the government’s policies, resulted in a rift between him and the Catholic Diocese of Enugu.

His call for the then president’s resignation or impeachment due to alleged bad governance drew strong reactions from the presidency, which accused Mbaka of seeking government contracts and favoritism.

Following the tense exchange and repeated warnings from the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Callistus Onaga, regarding political involvement, the Adoration Ministry was temporarily shut down by the bishop.

The matter was later resolved after Mbaka apologized to the bishop and members of the diocese.
