Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has accused supporters of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike of attempting to bomb the Hotel Presidential in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
Fubara said that the failed attack was intended to legitimise the state’s declaration of an emergency. He made the assertion while meeting with a delegation from the Senate Committee on Privatisation and Commercialisation, chaired by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, in Port Harcourt.

Fubara stated: “In reality, let me tell you, I am aware of everything that is going on. No government can take 10% what have received, I am the only governor that a councilor, chairman have insulted.
