Nyesom Wike Vision: Dominance in 2027 Politics
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, expressed confidence, asserting that no one can challenge his political camp in the 2027 elections. Wike made this declaration during a thanksgiving service hosted by Senator Barinada Mpigi in Koroma, Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State on Sunday.
He remarked, “With the forces we have, I don’t know of anybody who can challenge us. It’s as if tomorrow is 2027. For me, it still feels distant; I can’t wait. The leadership of both the APC and PDP is here; where else can you find such unity? Only in Rivers do you witness this unity.”

Nyesom Wike emphasized that despite attempts to sow division, Rivers remains the only state where the leading party wins the presidency, and the opposition party secures the national assembly simultaneously, a rarity in Nigerian politics.
The minister also advocated for support for President Bola Tinubu’s economic reform policies, acknowledging the challenges in turning the nation’s fortunes around swiftly. “God in His infinite mercies will continue to give us the strength to work together to support Mr President,” Nyesom Wike added.

He urged patience, stating that decisions made by the President, if given time, would lead the country to its desired destination. The event was attended by dignitaries including Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Minister of Works Dave Umahi, Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly Martin Amaewhule, among others.
