JAMB releases 2024 supplementary UTME results for all candidates.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for candidates who participated in the supplementary Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). This additional exam was held from Friday, June 21st, to Saturday, June 22nd, 2024.
Fabian Benjamin, spokesperson for JAMB, explained that the supplementary exam accommodated 28,835 candidates who couldn’t complete biometric verification during the main 2024 UTME, missing their initial exam opportunity.

To check their supplementary UTME results, candidates are instructed to text UTMERESULT to either 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used to generate their profile codes during registration.
Benjamin also mentioned a second group of candidates who were allowed to retake the exam due to suspicions of exam malpractice during the main UTME.

Highlighting the overall success of the supplementary exam, the spokesperson credited it to enhanced security measures implemented by JAMB to prevent exam misconduct. Perpetrators attempting to impersonate legitimate candidates were apprehended and turned over to law enforcement for investigation and prosecution.
Looking forward, JAMB affirmed its commitment to using advanced technology to maintain exam integrity. Candidates were strongly advised against engaging in exam irregularities, such as seeking score upgrades from unauthorized sources or tampering with their result sheets.
